Develops community strategies and action plans to ensure that the NEOM Community is transformed into a place that Community members are proud to work, live, and play.
Leads the design, development and delivery of programs, projects, initiatives and events to increase community engagement and involvement.
Leads Community Engagement initiative to develop a culture of community engagement, involvement, participation, volunteerism and citizenship… ‘community for community’.
Conducts numerous initiatives such as focus groups and community engagement surveys to consistently have the pulse of the Community.
Works with the leadership in Community Services, NEOM Operations, and other departments to review and develop the use of community spaces.
Builds strong positive, collaborative and productive relationships with NEOM AND NEOM Operations leadership, colleagues across all departments, supplemental manpower, service providers, other internal and external stakeholders, and the NEOM community.
Helps the Engagement & Leisure Services team to achieve its goals and objectives and to deliver a high level of performance.
Oversees all operational/administrative matters associated with Engagement, including management, planning and budgeting.
Works collaboratively with the Manager, Community Events and the Manager Wellness & Recreation Activities to deliver enriching community experiences.
Delivers sustainable operational best practices.
Champions and facilitates inter-departmental and cross-departmental collaboration and communication.
Creates and promotes a positive, highly engaged multicultural work environment. Performs other duties as needed and as assigned by the Senior Manager, Engagement & Recreation Activities.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Business Management, HR, Community Development,).
Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience at managerial level.
Strong project/program management background and experience.
Relevant certifications/credentials to display professionalism in the field.
Strong leadership, negotiating and influencing skills.
Strategic thinking and community vision.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the NEOM context and strategic/operational environment and an ability to implement aligned creative and innovative programs and initiatives.
Experience and success in delivering multiple community services, programs and projects – on time and to budget.
Ability to build relationships and partnerships with leadership and management personnel within NEOM, with colleagues across all levels in the University, with supplemental manpower and service providers, and with community groups.
High levels of initiative and creativity, strong organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities and collaboration experience. Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
Advanced project management skills.
High level of proficiency in the use of software applications: Microsoft Office and the use of online tools (e.g. Canva, SlideTeam, FlippingBook, SurveyMonkey…).
