Assist in operating offgrid assets, monitor contractors’ performance, and prepare Offgrid reports to support in achieving Assets Operations goals
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Assets Management
• Assist in the implementation of plans for Offgrid assets in the best possible manner aiming at generation of profit for the assets from a long-term perspective
• Monitor the performance of for Offgrid assets to identify deviations and risks and propose corrective solutions
• Follow up with the project team and collect all documents, drawings and manuals connected with plants on completion
Contracts Management
- Conduct market research and propose potential contractors for Offgrid Assets
- Support in the development of contracts performance measurement metrics for Offgrid to ensure contracts are evaluated based on clear KPIs
- Monitor transaction compliance (milestone, deliverables, invoicing, etc.) to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and in compliance with E&W regulations, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to the identification of issues, special circumstances or breaches of contracts and propose corrective solutions
HSE
- Monitor HSE policies, standards, processes, procedures, and controls for HIDC and H2 Zero
- Ensure that operations are carried out with minimal environmental impact and are implemented in compliance with international standards as well as local rules and regulations to achieve environmental and sustainability objectives
Reports
Prepare and provide regular reports on Offgrid assets’ operations, performance, and contractors to relevant stakeholders
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business administration, or related studies
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in chemical plant/operations
- Experience in operation management or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of chemicals and gases
- Knowledge of the local laws, administrative rules, and regulations relating to construction, operations management, project management and asset management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization
- Strong presentation skills, presentation preparation and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
