To manage Technology & Infrastructure efforts aiming to ensure the establishment and continuous development of NEOM’s Health & Wellbeing Sector, through identifying the latest Technological advancement, monitoring its setup and installation in NEOM.

Planning and Strategy
  • Implement and ensure the achievement of NEOM’s strategy, aspirations, and HTI’s specific objectives
  • Implement plans and provide input to HTI‘s goals that support NEOM’s overall strategic plans
  • Provide input to identify HTI’s required projects to meet future demands
Budget
  • Participate in HTI’s annual budgeting cycle and process
  • Manage HTI division efficiently and within budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
Research – Medical Technology and Infrastructure
  • Assist Director in networking with leading global healthcare technology, healthcare centers, and medical institutions to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest innovative trends in technology, infrastructure, and the digitization of healthcare centers
  • Facilitate the Director’s participation in various medical and technology forums and share achievements and learnings at NEOM to position NEOM as a world-class healthcare destination
  • Identify opportunities for strategic collaborations to leverage leading technology and infrastructure trends and innovative breakthroughs to facilitate and improve the delivery of healthcare services
  • Evaluate opportunities to internally manufacture medical equipment and build systems to ensure the continuous improvement of NEOM’s Health and Wellbeing Sector, through working with Manufacturing & Biotech Sectors to understand the feasibility and develop plans to utilize existing advanced technology at NEOM
Execution and Governance – Medical Technology and Infrastructure
  • Perform a deep dive analysis to assess feasibility and budget of introducing any new technology(tangible technology such as machines & equipment and intangible such as IT solutions & platforms, etc.) to support innovatively designed health concepts
  • Create detailed plans/ blueprints for new medical infrastructure projects based on the vision of healthcare centers and wellness centers, covering aspects such as location, accessibility, liveability, walkability, technology sourcing, etc.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining online platforms, featuring interactive tools and applications providing on-demand health and wellness related information to engage citizen on healthy living practices, and create a culture who is aware of general wellness and medical prevention behaviors within NEOM
  • Lead on-site inspections prior to commencement of operations in a new facility, to ensure full functionality of new facilities and equipment
  • Supervise all activities occurring in NEOM and act as the department’s representative on-site, through frequent traveling to NEOM and spending the majority of the time there
  • Plan and coordinate certifications and approvals required for any new projects and technology introduction and advancements
  • Develop a governance framework to ensure integrated and seamless planning between the commissioning of infrastructure and associated technology
  • Participate in forming committees to oversee the execution of projects from a quality and timeline perspective and periodically review & report progress and address escalated issues
  • Provide periodic reports regarding project progress, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Co-ordinate with technology heads of the various healthcare centers, including healthcare centers, sports recovery centers, medical schools, and wellness resorts to ensure smooth appropriate checks are completed for any new medical equipment or tools installed
  • Manage the design and implementation of the maintenance management systems and monitor the quality, safety, security, and efficiency of medical equipment and platforms in ensuring and advancing public health
Policies, Processes, and Procedures
  • Lead the design and implementation of HTI’s policies, procedures covering all areas of activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high impact and achieving results effectively & efficiently
  • Stimulate team and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement
  • Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
  • Maintain marketplace knowledge and awareness of Sector leading practice, and identify recommendations for corrective measures, updates, and improvements where required
  • Conduct comprehensive research on trends in Technology and regularly provide Director with leading practice reports
Stakeholder Management
  • Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements in order to identify barriers and develop action plans
  • Prepare progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
  • Actively gain exposure and insights into local market development, business opportunities, and the existing regulatory landscape
  • Prepare and continuously update a detailed list of forums and activities and submit it to the Director as a recommendation on events that the Director should attend, the needed outcomes from attending, and a list of subject matter experts and other stakeholders that the Director should meet
People Management
  • Manage, guide, and assist the team to perform their operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with HR to identify and recruit talent for HTI division
  • Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise incumbents, and provide regular feedback on performance
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in Technology, Setup, and Installation
Education and Certifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent is required
  • A master’s degree in IT, Project Management, or equivalent is preferred
