Epicon: NEOM’s New Luxury Coastal Destination

NEOM, the visionary project that aims to transform the northwest of Saudi Arabia into a global hub for innovation and sustainability, has unveiled its latest attraction: Epicon, a luxury coastal tourism destination that offers unparalleled hospitality and architecture. Epicon, which means “epic” in Arabic, is designed to be a gateway to the future, where guests and residents can enjoy a range of experiences that cater to their every need and desire. From the stunning towers that rise from the desert like a mirage, to the tranquil resort that blends indulgence with nature, Epicon is set to become a landmark for iconic living.

Epicon is located on the Gulf of Aqaba, one of the most desirable shorelines in NEOM. The property will feature two striking towers, one 225 meters tall and one reaching 275 meters. The towers will be home to an ultra-premium 41 key hotel and luxury residences that comprise 14 suites and apartments. A short distance from the hotel is the Epicon Resort, which blends tranquility with indulgence and features 120 rooms and 45 stunning residential beach villas.

Epicon is not only a place to stay, but also a place to live. Guests and residents of Epicon will enjoy unrestricted access to world-class facilities, complemented by views of one of the most desirable shorelines in NEOM. Amenities include a state-of-the-art gym, library, workspaces, pools, and lounges.

News of Epicon follows the recent announcement of NEOM’s other attractions, such as its floating industrial complex, its global trade hub, its linear city powered by renewable energy sources, and its diverse climate, natural landscapes, and islands. NEOM is a special economic zone in Saudi Arabia that aims to be a living laboratory for entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability in the temperate northwest of Saudi Arabia. It offers a diverse climate, natural landscapes, islands, and a global opportunity to redefine conservation, business, and livability.

Epicon is expected to open in 2024 as part of NEOM’s first region for visitors. It will be followed by four more regions that will showcase NEOM’s vision of what a new future might look like. Epicon is an invitation for dreamers and doers to join this historic project that will change the world.
