NEOM Energy Sector is looking for a Manager to plan and administer the build-up of TSO-related assets. The scope of services to be covered are including the conceptual design of suitable asset management tools, GIS databases, Asset numbering systems, and a forward-looking budgetary simulation and planning process for coming grid extensions.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Conceptual definition, design, and procurement of tools and processes
• Define, design, and implement leading-edge asset management systems, procedures and processes, like but not limited to
• Asset numbering system
• Asset database incl. BIM functionality and GIS data integration
• Asset Management and Health Tracking System
• Cost database and built-out simulation of cost and total asset base
Asset Cost Simulation
• Support ongoing design optimization exercises by building up and applying a database of relevant asset costs that can be used to quickly simulate certain build-out scenarios
• Define and organize the data update procedures to keep the asset cost database as updated as possible through the first asset construction projects
• Liaise regularly with the supply chain inside and outside KSA on relevant product initiatives that might have relevance for NEOM Energy and turn this into asset data in the model
• Cooperate with other parts of the NEOM Energy team to analyze and influence conceptual designs and project execution to assure the application of the most cost-efficient asset selections
• Prepare presentations for the NEOM Energy executive management on the progress made in identifying and selecting the most cost-efficient asset solutions

Education & Experience
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferably in electrical engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• A proven track record of asset management-related activities in a TSO context
• Evidence of managed multi-disciplined electrical engineering projects
• In-depth knowledge of asset management trends in a TSO context
• Evidence of developing the electrical power sector through innovative thinking
• Comprehensive knowledge of standards, procedures, and grid codes including knowledge or affiliation with committees and regulatory organizations across the power sector
• A visionary mindset, ready to challenge and advance the energy sector
• Ability to undertake strategic thinking and application in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
